JOLIET, Ill. (AP) - Authorities say a 6-year-old girl and a 1-year-old boy are among four dead in what Joliet police are calling an apparent murder-suicide.

The Will County coroner's office said Thursday afternoon that Gianna Lee and Giovanni Lee were found dead shortly after 10:15 p.m. Wednesday. The other victims are 34-year-old Brandyn Lee and 29-year-old Jaquelon Gaskin. Police say officers were sent to the scene on reports of people shot. Police say all four were found dead on the home's second floor.

The coroner's office called the deaths part of "a domestic incident. Autopsies are planned Friday.

An investigation is ongoing, but police say no one is being sought in connection with the deaths. Police say "detectives are thoroughly investigating the scene to determine what occurred."

Joliet is about 40 miles (64 kilometers) southwest of downtown Chicago.
